Santa Fe Old Town Plaza

Today was spent in Santa Fe where the kids did walking tours around the area of the Old Town Plaza, touring museums, churches, cathedrals and mostly shopping! We split up into two groups, headed by our three chaperone's and the 6th grade teachers.
Before lunch, the Chaperone's group visited the Loretto Chapel to see its miraculous staircase, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, and the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum while the teacher lead group shopped - or so I was told.
After a sack lunch in the Plaza, the groups switched off with the Chaperone's group shopping and finishing off by touring the New Mexico History Museum in the Palace of the Governors. The teacher group went to the Loretto Chapel and other museums.
Both groups returned to the Glorieta Conference Center for dinner and recreational activities.
